Arjun and Igor's Big Adventure: An Exercise in Modern Urban Exchange and Value Creation
Inspired by Arjun Appadurai's book 'The Social Life of Things' and Igor Kopytoff's essay 'The Cultural Biography of Things' the experiment sought to demonstrate the ‘exchange spheres’ and ‘tournaments of value’ that enable material objects to accumulate social and sentimental value.
